You might wonder, "When will my child learn music?" In Music Together®, we focus on learning through music experiences, not formal lessons. The goal is not to test or measure progress but to let your child enjoy and naturally develop their musical skills with your help. So relax and enjoy—your child is getting everything they need to grow musically!

今はまだ、お子さまが自分の腕や足を意図的に動かすことはできませんが、優しく動かしてあげることで、リズムに合わせて体を動かすことを学んでいるのです。後で自分で動かせるようになったとき、リズムを感じやすくなりますよ。しかし、一度自分で動かし始めたら、あとは自由に動かさせてあげるのが一番です。今のうちに、その小さな手足を動かして楽しんでくださいね！

Moving Your Baby's Arms and Legs...While You Can!

Right now, your baby can't move their arms and legs on purpose. By gently moving them, you’re helping them learn how to move to the beat. Later, when they can move on their own, this will help them find the beat more easily. But once they start moving by themselves, it's best to let them do it. So enjoy this time and move their little limbs while you can!

Did you know your child’s brain is growing fast in the first three years? Every time we sing, play, and move, we are helping their brain build musical connections that can last a lifetime. But to keep these connections strong, we need to use them often! So, keep making music with your child at home—in the kitchen, bathtub, park, or car. Every little bit helps!

Singing and moving to songs is a great way to support your child’s physical development. By moving different parts of their body to the music, they’re exercising their muscles, improving coordination, and building balance.

Many people think only "talented" people can sing, but that's not true! By age five, most children already understand the basics of music from their culture. In Music Together, we believe children learn to sing by hearing others and singing along. Singing helps develop important musical skills. So, let’s keep singing in class and at home—both children and even adults can grow musically!
